Prof. Shahbaz Khan, Director of UNESCO China Office, visited HRCHR

Professor Shahbaz Khan, director of the UNESCO office in China, visited the Hydropower Research Center for Himalaya Region (HRCHR) on May 17 2023. Professor Yufeng Luo from Wuhan University joined the visit as accompanying person. Professor Zhongdong Qian, the director of HRCHR, introduced HRCHR’s strategic planning, development history, and international cooperation. He also shared the achievements in anti-erosion technologies for hydraulic machinery. Professor Shahbaz Khan praised HRCHR's achievements  and encouraged the center to expand its cooperation with neighboring countries and make more contribution  to the hydropower development in himalaya region.
