2021 China-North Macedonia Bilateral Forum

On the afternoon of June 17, 2021, the China-North Macedonia Bilateral Forum was held at the State Key Laboratory of Water Resources and Hydropower Engineering Science. The forum was organized by both the Hydropower Research Center for Himalaya Region (HRCHR) of Wuhan University and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering-Skopje, Ss.Cyril and Methodius University of North Macedonia. The forum was supported by the School of Water Resources and Hydropower engineering of Wuhan University and the State Key Laboratory of Water Resources and Hydropower Engineering Science. The teams from two sides reached a consensus on future cooperation.

         Associate Professor Zhiwei Guo presided over the forum. Prof. Bin Dong, Prof. Zoran Markov, Associate Professor Darko Babunski, Dr. Marija Lazarevikj and Prof. Zhongdong Qian gave presentations. Prof. Bin Dong systematically introduced the research directions, experimental facilities and international cooperation projects of Wuhan University and the State Key Laboratory of Water Resources and Hydropower Engineering Science. Prof. Zoran Markov introduced the main research directions of his research team. Associate Professor Darko Babunski gave a detailed introduction to the teaching and talent training programs of Faculty of Mechanical Engineering-Skopje of Ss.Cyril and Methodius University. Dr. Marija Lazarevikj introduced his research on design of Francis turbine. Prof. Zhongdong Qian introduced the research carried out by HRCHR in the field of sediment erosion of hydraulic machinery with the topic of "An overview of HRCHR research on sediment erosion of hydraulic machinery"
